Stroke Technology Inc. is committed to making our products usable by people of all abilities. Accessibility is core to our mission of supporting stroke survivors and caregivers.
Our Standard
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive differences.
Ongoing Improvements
We continuously work to improve accessibility, including:
- Designing for keyboard-only navigation and visible focus.
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast and respecting user font preferences.
- Providing meaningful alternative text for informative images.
- Honoring
prefers-reduced-motionby disabling non-essential animation. - Structuring content with semantic HTML for screen-reader compatibility.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, parts of our products may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas under improvement include:
- Some third-party embedded content may not meet our accessibility standard.
- Older media assets may lack captions or transcripts; we are backfilling these progressively.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our sites are designed to work with recent versions of major browsers and screen readers, including current releases of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, paired with VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, or TalkBack.
